# AltStore / SideStore Certificate Expired — App Can't Be Opened Fix

I installed an emulator through AltStore (like DolphiniOS or Provenance) and after a week or so the app no longer opens. iOS shows a message saying "App Name" cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified, or the app icon has a locked/expired badge in AltStore. My save data should still be inside the app — I just can't open it.
