# Dolphin Emulator on Mac (M1/M2/M3/M4) — Setup and Best Settings 2026

I want to run Dolphin emulator on my Mac with Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, or M4). I need to know how to download the correct build, set up the Metal graphics backend, tune settings for the best performance and visuals, connect a controller, and fix Mac-specific issues like crashes or slow speed.
