# Eden Switch Emulator on Mac (Apple Silicon) — Setup and Best Settings 2026

I want to run Nintendo Switch games on my Mac using Eden (the open-source Switch emulator, successor to Yuzu). I have an Apple Silicon Mac (M1, M2, M3, or M4) and I need to know how to download the right Eden build for macOS, add my prod.keys and firmware, configure the Metal renderer for best performance, and troubleshoot Mac-specific issues like games that won't launch or crash on startup.
