# Guide says disable Hyper-V but Arena Breakout installer requires it ON — toggle dance fix

Following the standard TAC setup guide, you're told to disable Hyper-V before playing — because Hyper-V interferes with TAC's hypervisor and causes performance regressions. But when you try to install Arena Breakout (which is a prerequisite step in the TAC bootstrap workflow), the Arena Breakout installer detects that Hyper-V is OFF and refuses to install. You're stuck in a paradox: can't install without Hyper-V on, can't play with Hyper-V on. Reported framing:

"hola, la guia dice tener el hyper-v desactivado, pero al intentar instalar el arena como dice en la guia me pide tener activo el hyper-v y al no tenerlo cancela la instalacion"

This is a known documentation gap — both states ARE actually required, but at different times.
