# PUBG Smart Tool says 'GameLoop not found' — tool requires TAC, not old GameLoop

The PUBG Mobile Smart Tool shows the message "GameLoop not found. Please install GameLoop." in its launch step, even though GameLoop is clearly installed and visible in the Start menu. The Smart Tool's other operations succeed — Apply FPS, Apply Keymap, Restore DB all complete normally — but the actual game launch fails.

Tool log excerpt from a real user:

[20:40:56] System Engine Connected.
[20:40:56] Optimizing resources...
[20:41:24] Executing: BOOST FPS
[20:41:25] Applying FPS...
[20:41:25] Applying device model: ROG Phone 9 Pro...
[20:41:25] User config data was invalid. FPS was applied to host config only.
[20:41:25] Device model applied.
[20:41:25] Configuration applied. Settings are active.
[20:41:34] Executing: Launch Game
[20:41:35] GameLoop not found. Please install GameLoop.

Root cause: the Smart Tool is built for TAC (Tenstore Android Connect / "New GameLoop"), not the legacy GameLoop emulator. Users see the same "GameLoop" branding everywhere and assume the tool works on both. It doesn't — the tool's launcher detection looks for TAC's process signature, not the old GameLoop's.
