# How to Set Up RPCS3 — Complete PS3 Emulator Guide 2026

I want to play PS3 games on my PC using RPCS3. I've downloaded it but I'm not sure how to install the PS3 firmware, which CPU and GPU settings to use, or why the game stutters so badly for the first hour. I also don't know how to configure my controller correctly.
