# Smart Tool minimum CPU requirement: Intel Core i5-7500 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400 (i5-2400 NOT enough)

Trying to install or launch the COD Mobile / PUBG Mobile Smart Tool on an older PC and getting a "your processor is not compatible" error? The exact minimum CPU requirement isn't documented on TAC's installer or on Smart Tool's product page — but the GameLoopHub mod team has confirmed the threshold from real-user testing.

Common framing of this issue:

"Cual procesador tienes? Dice que no esta compatible" — when Smart Tool refuses to install on older Intel i5 chips.
"My PC has 8 GB RAM and a Core i5, why doesn't TAC start?" — the RAM and core count are fine, but the CPU generation is too old.
Pre-Skylake Intel chips (5th gen and earlier) and pre-Zen AMD chips fail silently.

Root cause: TAC requires SSE4.2 + AVX2 instruction support and modern hypervisor extensions (VT-x with EPT for Intel, AMD-V with RVI for AMD) that older CPUs either lack or implement too slowly to run the emulated Android kernel at playable speed.
