# Smart Tool 'Repair Environment' dialog keeps reappearing — fix that breaks the loop

When opening the COD Mobile Smart Tool, a modal dialog appears titled "Repair Environment" with the message:

"You have enabled virtualization technology (Hyper-V). You need to repair the related environment before using it normally. Do you want to repair it?"

Clicking Repair runs a brief animation, but on the next Smart Tool launch the same dialog reappears. Clicking Cancel just closes the dialog without doing anything. The user is stuck in a loop where Repair claims to succeed but the underlying environment mismatch isn't actually resolved.

"i turned on hyperv, it told me to repair the environment, i did that and its still not opening" — caesarsalad

Root cause: the Smart Tool's "Repair Environment" path patches a registry key indicating Hyper-V mode, but if Memory Integrity / VBS is also enabled, the underlying hypervisor lock prevents TAC from actually using Hyper-V — and the next environment check detects the mismatch again.
