Free Fire MAX

Free Fire MAX

Free Fire MAX is Garena's higher-fidelity Free Fire client: the same battle royale, account and matches with sharper textures and effects, and higher hardware demands. On PC it runs through GameLoop.

Free Fire MAX is Garena's higher-fidelity client for Free Fire. It is the same free-to-play battle royale, with the same maps, modes and matchmaking pool as the regular client, delivered with higher-resolution textures, richer effects and smoother animations. Progress and purchases are shared through Firelink, so one account covers both clients, but the MAX build is a larger download and expects more from the hardware it runs on.

On PC the setup is the same as for Free Fire: install the game from GameLoop's game center, sign in with the account already used on mobile, and map movement, aiming and the ability keys once. GameLoop exposes separate X and Y mouse sensitivity, which is worth tuning for either client. What changes with MAX is how much the emulator's resolution and graphics settings matter: a mid-range PC is the practical minimum for stable frame rates, and if performance is poor the regular Free Fire client is the fallback on the same account.

Use this page for GameLoop compatibility ratings on the MAX client; there are no MAX-specific guides, issues or keymaps yet. Everything that applies to the regular client, including the parent compatibility matrix, lives under Free Fire.
