BlueStacks Update Failed — Won't Update Fix

BlueStacks shows an "Update available" prompt but the update fails to download, gets stuck at a percentage, or completes the download but fails during installation. Sometimes BlueStacks shows "Update failed" with no error code, or the update loop repeats every launch without ever succeeding. BlueStacks stays on an old version and newer games requiring updated Android support won't work.
