Controller / Gamepad Not Working in CODM Season 8 "Against All Fate" on GameLoop PC

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 "Against All Fate" launched on September 9, 2026, and brought a large update that touched GameLoop's internal mapping layer. After installing the update, some players find that their Xbox, PlayStation, or generic USB gamepad is no longer recognized by GameLoop — or it appears in the device list but button presses have no effect inside the game.
