Mouse Input Becomes Locked When Emulator Window Is Unfocused and Disappears in Training Ground Settings
The emulator restricts mouse movement when it starts while the emulator window is not focused. Mouse movement remains locked until the emulator window gains focus.
Additionally, in the Training Ground, the mouse cursor may disappear after opening the Settings menu. When this occurs, the user is unable to interact with the emulator interface. The only workaround is to forcibly close the Settings window using Alt + F4. However, doing so leaves the system in a locked state, preventing interaction with both the emulator and the operating system.
Issue 1: Mouse Locked Until Window Gains Focus
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch the emulator while another application is focused.
Do not click on the emulator window.
Attempt to move or use the mouse within the emulator.
Expected Result:
Mouse movement and input should function normally regardless of the initial window focus state.
Actual Result:
Mouse movement remains restricted until the emulator window is manually focused.
Issue 2: Mouse Cursor Disappears in Training Ground Settings
Steps to Reproduce:
Enter the Training Ground.
Open the Settings menu.
Observe the mouse cursor behavior.
Expected Result:
The mouse cursor should remain visible and allow interaction with the Settings menu.
Actual Result:
The mouse cursor disappears, preventing any interaction with the Settings menu.
The only known workaround is to close the window using Alt + F4.
After doing so, both the emulator and the operating system may become unresponsive to mouse input, leaving the user unable to perform further actions.
Impact:
Users can become completely blocked from interacting with the emulator.
In some cases, mouse input is effectively lost for both the emulator and the desktop environment until the issue is resolved.

First of all, thank you for the very detailed report. The information you provided is extremely helpful.
From what we have observed, all of these symptoms are actually caused by the same underlying behavior. When the game is running, the emulator continuously tries to lock the mouse to the game window. It will keep doing this even if another window is placed on top of the emulator, even when the emulator window itself is not focused.
This behavior is a side effect of a previous fix that was implemented to address a mouse locking issue in the emulator.
Fortunately, there is a simple workaround to avoid the problem. If you encounter this situation, use Alt + Tab to switch back to the emulator window and then minimize the emulator to the taskbar. Doing so should prevent the mouse from becoming stuck and avoid the issues described in your report.
Thank you again for taking the time to document everything so clearly.
