COD Mobile New TAC/GameLoop Beta – Hard 30 FPS Cap & Collapsing to ~15 FPS in Combat

Hi everyone hope y'all are doing well

So I am testing the new TAC-based GameLoop beta build for COD Mobile. While the game launches and keymaps function, performance is heavily throttled and experiences severe drops during action.

My Specs:

  • Laptop: HP Victus 15

  • CPU: 13th Gen Intel Core

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

  • RAM: 16 GB

  • Display: 144 Hz

  • OS: Windows 11 (Virtual Machine Platform disabled)

The Issues:

  1. Hard 30 FPS Lock: Most of the time during normal play, the game aggressively caps itself at 30 FPS (sometimes floating slightly up to 45 FPS max). Even after increasing the TAC/GameLoop emulator FPS slider to 100 FPS, it completely ignores the setting and remains locked around 30 FPS.

  2. Severe Combat Frame Drops (Drops to 10–16 FPS): Whenever sudden action happens on screen, the framerate completely collapses:

    • An enemy suddenly crosses my line of sight or turns a corner

    • Rapid aiming / flicking the mouse

    • Multiple assets, muzzle flash, or effects render at once

  3. Failing to Recover After Stutter: When the frame rate drops into the 10–16 FPS range, the emulator frequently stays stuck at ~15 FPS for the rest of the engagement rather than bouncing back up to 30.

What I've Tested:

  • Clean installation of the new beta on local hardware (not cloud/shared).

  • Disabled Windows Virtual Machine Platform (helped overall stability, but the 30 FPS cap and combat drops remain).

Has anyone found a way to break this internal 30 FPS cap on the TAC beta, or stopped the emulator from getting permanently stuck at 15 FPS during gunfights? Any guidance on engine renderer settings or config file overrides would be appreciated.

Note : Also If turn on frame generation option it jumps 70-80 fps but I makes waves pattern or blurry waves if I move quickly like GPU is not rendering or something not going well

[SOLVED] GameLoop Beta stuck on loading / virtpipe IPC crash loop & severe stuttering

Symptoms:

  • Emulator hangs endlessly on the loading splash screen (typically at 25% or 98%), or games suffer heavy frame drops and stutters.

  • AndrowsVm log shows repeated 3-second retry loops:

    OpenNamePipe success, pipe : ... name : \\.\pipe\virtpipe-9001-sec

    startWriteThread already create!

    transferWrite already create!

    sec write thread out, event=0

The Root Cause: GameLoop Beta uses the Dokan Virtual Filesystem driver to mount Android guest virtual disks (.vfs) and stream assets. If the kernel driver (dokan2t.sys) fails to register during installation, the Android container cannot access storage. This causes the host-to-guest shared memory pipe (virtpipe-9001-sec) to disconnect constantly, burning CPU cycles in an infinite reconnect loop. Additionally, Windows shell hooks look for dokan2.sys, causing a file mismatch.

Step-by-Step Fix:

1. Clean up stale lock files & daemons

Close GameLoop completely from the system tray, open Command Prompt as Administrator, and terminate lingering background services:

DOS

taskkill /f /im AppMarket.exe & taskkill /f /im GameLoopEmulator.exe & taskkill /f /im aow_exe.exe & taskkill /f /im QMEmulatorService.exe

2. Copy and register the missing Dokan kernel driver

Navigate to the Driver directory inside your active GameLoop installation (adjust the drive letter and path to match where your GameLoop is installed, e.g., E:\GAMES\GameLoop\Application\7.0.154.0\Driver or C:\Program Files\TxGameAssistant\...):

DOS

cd /d "E:\GAMES\GameLoop\Application\7.0.154.0\Driver"
copy /y "dokan2t.sys" "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\dokan2t.sys"
sc create dokan2t binPath= "System32\drivers\dokan2t.sys" type= kernel start= auto
sc start dokan2t

(Verify that sc start outputs STATE : 4 RUNNING)

3. Create the compatibility symlink

GameLoop’s control binary checks for dokan2.sys, while the bundled driver is named dokan2t.sys. Link them by running:

DOS

mklink "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\dokan2.sys" "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\dokan2t.sys"

4. Verify the driver state

Step out of the driver folder and query the utility:

DOS

cd ..
dokanctl.exe /v

If it was broken before, it returned Failed to open \\.\Dokan_2t with code 2 and driver version 0x0.

Now it should cleanly return:

Dokan driver version : 0x190

5. Launch and Play

Relaunch GameLoop as Administrator. The virtual drive will mount immediately, the IPC pipe will connect, and the loading bar will push straight into the game smoothly (running 42–60+ FPS without thread stuttering).
