CODM S7 Terminated operator skin or bundle item not in Locker after purchase on GameLoop PC

High5 solutions

You purchased a Season 7 Terminated bundle, operator skin, or Battle Pass tier in CODM, CP was deducted from your account, but the operator skin or cosmetic item is not appearing in your Locker on GameLoop PC.

Common versions of this problem:

  • Operator skin is completely absent from the Locker — the purchase was processed server-side but delivery is pending due to a sync delay; a CODM restart is usually sufficient
  • Locker shows the operator skin with a lock icon despite purchase — the local client cache has not refreshed to reflect the server-side entitlement; a cache clear resolves this
  • Bundle purchased but only some items appeared — one or more cosmetics are missing — each item in a bundle is delivered individually and one item may still be pending sync
  • Operator skin appears in Locker but crashes GameLoop when equipping — the operator's resource pack (model, textures, animations) has not been downloaded; download must complete before the skin can be equipped
  • Battle Pass tier reward operator skin not received after tier purchase — the tier unlock must be processed first; go to Battle Pass and manually claim any pending tier rewards before the skin appears in the Locker

Why this happens: When you purchase a CODM bundle or Battle Pass tier, the transaction flows through three systems: the payment processor (CP deduction), Tencent's entitlement server (account record update), and the CODM client (local inventory display). On Season 7 launch day, entitlement server load is at its peak as millions of players purchase simultaneously. The result is that CP is deducted immediately (the payment succeeds), the entitlement is recorded server-side within minutes, but the client does not reflect the change until it re-fetches your inventory — which normally happens on next CODM login. Additionally, the operator skin's 3D model and texture files must be downloaded as a separate resource pack before the skin can be equipped; the Locker may show the skin as owned but unequippable until this download completes.

Work through these fixes in order. A CODM restart (Step 1) resolves most same-day purchase delivery delays.

restart-codm-to-trigger-inventory-sync (sortOrder=1, isMostHelpful)

The most common cause of missing purchased operator skins is a delivery sync delay — restarting CODM forces the client to re-fetch your full inventory from the server, delivering the purchased skin to your Locker.

  1. Fully close CODM inside GameLoop — click the × button inside the game window, not just the minimize button.
  2. Wait 60 seconds to allow any pending server-side delivery transactions to complete.
  3. Relaunch CODM from the GameLoop library and wait for the full lobby to load (do not skip this — inventory sync happens during the loading sequence).
  4. Go to Loadout → Operator → Locker and look for the purchased skin. It should now appear as owned.
  5. If the skin is still missing after one restart, wait 5 minutes and repeat. On launch day, entitlement delivery can take up to 15 minutes under high server load.

Why this works: CODM's inventory is stored server-side and cached locally on your GameLoop PC. When you make a purchase, the server updates your account record immediately, but the local cache only refreshes on CODM login. A full CODM restart triggers a new login handshake that fetches the updated inventory, making the newly purchased operator skin visible in your Locker. This restart cycle is the standard and fastest resolution for purchase delivery delays.

claim-pending-battle-pass-tier-rewards-manually (sortOrder=2)

If the missing skin is a Battle Pass reward, it may not appear in your Locker until you manually claim the tier reward from the Battle Pass screen.

  1. Go to Events → Battle Pass (or the Battle Pass shortcut on the main lobby screen).
  2. In the Battle Pass tier track, look for any tier with a Claim button or an unclaimed reward indicator (a glowing border or exclamation mark).
  3. Tap or click Claim on each tier that has a pending reward, including the specific tier containing the operator skin.
  4. After claiming, go to Locker and verify the skin now appears.
  5. If the skin still does not appear after claiming the tier: restart CODM (Step 1) to trigger an inventory sync that reflects the just-claimed reward.

Why this works: Battle Pass rewards in CODM are not delivered automatically when you purchase a tier — they require an explicit "Claim" action on the Battle Pass screen. This is by design: it gives players a moment to review what they received and is the same mechanism used for free reward tiers. Players who purchase a tier bundle and then go directly to the Locker without visiting the Battle Pass screen will not see the skin because it has not been claimed yet.

download-s7-operator-resource-pack (sortOrder=3)

If the operator skin appears in your Locker with an owned indicator but cannot be equipped or causes a crash, the skin's 3D model and texture resource pack must be downloaded inside CODM before it can be used.

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) → About → Resource Download.
  2. Look for any packs listed with Not Downloaded status or a file size indicator. Download all pending packs.
  3. If a specific operator resource pack is listed (e.g., "Terminator Pack" or "S7 Operator Pack"), download it first.
  4. After the download completes, return to Locker and try equipping the skin. GameLoop should now load the skin's model and textures without crashing.
  5. If no resource download prompt is available in Settings: fully close and relaunch CODM — first login after a purchase often triggers an automatic resource download prompt.

Why this works: CODM separates game logic from cosmetic assets to reduce the base install size. Operator skin 3D models, texture atlases, and animations are stored in downloadable resource packs that are only fetched on demand. When you purchase a new S7 operator skin and immediately try to equip it, the resource pack may not have been downloaded yet. The Locker shows the skin as owned (because entitlement is server-side) but equipping it fails because the local files needed to render the skin do not exist yet.

clear-codm-cache-to-fix-persistent-inventory-display-errors (sortOrder=4)

If the skin was purchased, delivery confirmed, and resources downloaded, but the Locker still shows the skin as locked or missing, a cache clear forces CODM to rebuild its local inventory from the server record.

  1. In the GameLoop launcher, go to My Games → Call of Duty Mobile → three-dot menu (⋮) → Manage App → Clear Cache.
  2. Confirm the cache clear. Your account data, purchased items, and unlock progress are stored server-side and will not be lost.
  3. Relaunch CODM and allow the full loading sequence to complete. First launch after a cache clear takes 60–90 seconds as CODM rebuilds its local data from the server.
  4. Go to Locker and verify the purchased operator skin now appears as owned and equippable.

Why this works: The GameLoop local cache stores a copy of your CODM inventory state. If the cache was written before the purchase was delivered (a common timing issue on launch day when multiple cache writes happen in rapid succession), the cache will reflect the pre-purchase state and show the skin as unowned even after the server has delivered it. Clearing the cache removes the stale record and forces CODM to fetch the authoritative inventory from the server on next launch.

verify-purchase-completed-and-contact-support-if-cp-deducted (sortOrder=5)

If none of the above steps restore the missing operator skin, verify the purchase transaction status and contact Tencent support with proof of purchase — a failed delivery with a successful CP deduction is a support-resolvable issue.

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Purchase History (or equivalent) to confirm the transaction shows as completed with a timestamp and CP amount.
  2. Take a screenshot of the purchase history showing the completed transaction.
  3. Also screenshot your current CP balance and your Locker showing the skin is absent.
  4. Contact Tencent CODM support at support.codm.activision.com or via the in-game Help button (Settings → Customer Service).
  5. Provide: your Player ID (visible in Profile), the purchase timestamp, the item name, and the screenshots. Support can manually apply the entitlement to your account within 24–72 hours.

Why this works: In rare cases, the entitlement server records a successful purchase but fails to queue the item delivery — typically due to a server exception during the Season 7 launch surge. The payment succeeds (CP deducted), the purchase history shows the transaction, but the item is never flagged for delivery. This is not resolvable client-side; Tencent support can look up the failed delivery in their transaction log and manually grant the item. Your purchase history screenshot is the key evidence needed for support to process the manual grant without requiring you to re-purchase.
