CODM S7 Terminated Terminator crossover skins or event rewards missing on GameLoop PC
After completing Season 7 Terminated Terminator crossover event challenges or purchasing Terminator-themed items, the T-800 operator skin, Terminator Protocol event rewards, or crossover weapon blueprints are missing from your inventory on GameLoop PC.
Common versions of this problem:
- Completed all Terminator Protocol event challenges but rewards did not appear — event rewards require a separate claim step from the Events tab; completing the challenge does not auto-deliver the reward
- T-800 operator skin is not in the Operators section after earning or purchasing it — it is listed under the specific operator slot it occupies (Templar or Ghost, depending on the bundle) rather than a standalone entry
- Terminator-themed weapon blueprint is missing from Armory — crossover blueprints appear in the specific weapon type category (e.g., AR, SMG) with a "Terminator" or "S7" label, not in a dedicated crossover section
- Lucky Draw or paid bundle purchased but Terminator items not showing — purchase processing delay on launch day; wait 15 minutes and restart CODM
- Event progress shows 100% complete but reward icon is still greyed out — stale UI display; a CODM restart refreshes the event reward state from the server
Why this happens: The Terminator crossover event in S7 uses a two-step delivery system: completing a challenge registers your progress server-side, but the reward itself sits in the Events tab as an unclaimed package until you explicitly collect it. This is distinct from Battle Pass rewards (claimed from the tier track) and from Lucky Draw items (delivered directly after the draw animation). Players who expect automatic delivery search their inventory fruitlessly because the item is not there yet — it is waiting in the Events inbox. GameLoop PC does not affect this process; the delay and claim mechanics are identical on all platforms.
Work through these fixes in order. Step 1 resolves the majority of Terminator crossover reward reports.
Solutions
solution #1795
Terminator crossover event rewards must be manually claimed from the CODM Events tab — completing the challenge alone does not deliver the item to your inventory.
- In CODM, tap Events in the main lobby (clock icon in the top navigation bar).
- Find the Season 7 Terminated event banner and tap it to open the event hub.
- Navigate to the Terminator Protocol section (or the specific crossover event tab).
- For each completed challenge, look for a glowing Claim button or reward icon. Tap it to send the item to your inventory.
- If the challenge shows complete but the Claim button is greyed out or missing: restart CODM (see Step 2) to refresh the event state from the server.
- After claiming, find the item in your inventory: operators under Operators → [Character], weapon blueprints under Armory → [Weapon Type].
Why this works: CODM separates challenge completion (server-side) from reward delivery (client-initiated claim) to prevent accidental delivery to the wrong inventory slot and to maintain a clear claim history for support. The completed challenge sits in a "ready to claim" state on the events server until you trigger the claim — this is the design, not a bug. Most players discover the Events claim step only after filing a support ticket.
solution #1796
If completed challenges show 100% but the Claim button is greyed out or the event UI appears frozen, a CODM restart will force the client to fetch the latest event state from the server.
- Close CODM completely inside GameLoop (fully exit, do not minimize).
- Wait 30 seconds to allow any pending event transactions to process on Tencent's servers.
- Relaunch CODM from GameLoop. Allow the full login and lobby sequence to complete.
- Go to Events → Season 7 Terminated → Terminator Protocol and check the reward state again. The Claim button should now be active.
Why this works: During peak launch traffic (August 5–9), the event server processes millions of challenge completions and reward claims concurrently. The CODM client caches event state locally and this cache can be stale by several minutes. A restart discards the local cache and re-fetches the current server state, activating the Claim button for genuinely completed challenges.
solution #1797
Terminator crossover items do not appear in a dedicated "crossover" inventory section — each item type is filed under its functional gameplay category.
- To find the T-800 Operator skin: tap Profile → Operators. The T-800 skin is applied to a specific operator character (Templar or the S7 Terminated crossover operator). Tap that character, then tap the Skins tab. Scroll to find the Terminator-themed skin.
- To find a Terminator weapon blueprint: tap Armory → [Weapon Type where the blueprint applies]. Use the search bar or filter for "Terminator" or "S7" to locate the blueprint. Apply it to your loadout from there.
- To find Terminator calling cards, emblems, or sprays: tap Profile → Identity → [Calling Cards / Emblems / Sprays] and filter for new items or S7-tagged content.
- If items are still not found in any category after claiming: proceed to Step 4 to force a full inventory sync.
Why this works: CODM organizes inventory by item function, not by acquisition source or event name. There is no "Terminator bundle" folder in inventory — the T-800 skin lives with operators, the blueprint lives with weapons. First-time crossover event participants routinely spend 10+ minutes searching in the wrong sections before finding their items.
solution #1798
If claimed items are genuinely missing from all inventory categories, clear CODM's app cache in GameLoop to force a complete inventory refresh from Tencent's servers.
- In the GameLoop launcher, go to My Games and find Call of Duty Mobile.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the CODM tile → Manage App → Clear Cache.
- Relaunch CODM and allow it to reload its configuration (30–60 seconds).
- Go to Events and re-check whether the reward is now in a "claimable" or "claimed" state. If shown as claimed, navigate to the inventory category (per Step 3) and check again.
- If the item is still missing after a full cache clear and inventory check across all categories: note your claim timestamp and contact Tencent support at support.codm.activision.com with your account ID and event completion screenshot.
Why this works: Cache clearing forces CODM to pull a complete inventory manifest from Tencent's servers on the next launch, replacing any locally corrupt or outdated inventory state. Items that were delivered server-side but not reflected in the local cache will appear after the fresh pull.
solution #1799
If you purchased a Terminator bundle or Lucky Draw item and it has not appeared after 15 minutes, allow additional processing time before assuming a delivery failure.
- Check your payment method's transaction record to confirm the charge was processed (credit card statement, Google Pay, App Store receipt).
- If the charge is confirmed but items are absent: wait 15–30 minutes. Lucky Draw and bundle deliveries go through a payment verification pipeline that is slower during launch-day peaks.
- Restart CODM after waiting (as in Step 2). Lucky Draw items and bundles are typically delivered directly to inventory (not via the Events claim step), so check your inventory categories directly after the restart.
- If items still do not appear 30 minutes after a confirmed charge: do NOT repurchase. Contact Tencent support with your transaction confirmation number. Duplicate Lucky Draw purchases are non-refundable and Tencent support requires an escalation process to resolve them.
Why this works: Paid item delivery (Lucky Draw, bundles) goes through a payment processor confirmation before the account-entitlement update is applied. During launch-week payment volume spikes, the verification pipeline creates a backlog. Waiting and restarting allows the pipeline to clear and the delivery to complete naturally without requiring a support ticket in most cases.
