EmuDesk's first-line fix sequence — what to try before any other troubleshooting
Most CODM / PUBG / TAC support questions get the same first-line answer from mods regardless of the specific symptom: "Did you try Restore DB? Apply FPS? Smart Tool launch instead of direct? Defender disable? Hyper-V toggle?" — there's a canonical "before anything else" sequence that resolves ~80% of issues.
This guide consolidates that sequence so users can self-serve before posting in Discord and waiting for mod responses (which can take hours during peak times).
Solutions
Solution 1
Run these five fixes in order. Stop when one resolves your issue.
Step 1: Smart Tool Restore DB
- Open the Smart Tool.
- Click Restore DB.
- Wait for log: "Settings have been replaced with the bundled defaults."
- Test if your issue resolved.
This fixes: keymap import failures, "Failed to start" errors after Hyper-V toggle, stale region selection, broken touch detection.
Step 2: Apply FPS + Apply Keymap (in order)
- In Smart Tool, click Apply FPS. Wait for success log.
- Click Apply Keymap. Wait for success log.
- Both should report "Configuration applied. Settings are active."
This fixes: missing keymap, default 60 FPS cap, frame-pacing issues.
Step 3: Launch via Smart Tool, NOT desktop shortcut
- Click Launch CODM (or Launch PUBG) in Smart Tool's UI.
- Do NOT use the desktop shortcut or Start menu shortcut to launch the game.
This fixes: CTRL keybind issues, partial keymap detection, "GameLoop not found" partial-state errors.
Step 4: Disable Defender during install + Play Store install
- If you're freshly installing or reinstalling: Settings → Privacy & Security → Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Real-time protection OFF (just for the install duration).
- Install games via Play Store inside TAC (NOT via APK drag-and-drop).
- Re-enable real-time protection after install completes.
This fixes: "system error" during install, missing executables, files quarantined silently.
Step 5: Hyper-V toggle dance + Memory Integrity off
- Win+R →
optionalfeatures→ enable Hyper-V + Virtual Machine Platform + Windows Hypervisor Platform → Apply → reboot. - Settings → Privacy & Security → Device Security → Core Isolation → Memory Integrity OFF → reboot.
- Test the game.
- If issues persist with Hyper-V on: disable Hyper-V (keep VMP + WHP on) → reboot → retest.
This fixes: Error Code 1, Error 110110, Repair Environment loop, AMD bullet-drift, damage-stop bug.
Solution 2
Skip the canonical sequence and read a specific issue page if:
- You see a specific error code (1, 110110, 400) — go to that error's page directly.
- The issue is region-specific ("Domain is empty") — go to the region fix page.
- The issue is hardware-specific (laptop won't open, low FPS on RTX 4060) — go to the hardware guide.
- The issue is on a specific map (Rebirth lag) — go to that map's page.
Solution 3
If the canonical sequence + the specific issue page didn't help: post on Discord with full context.
- Join GameLoopHub Discord.
- Pick the right channel:
- #en-support-emulator-install — install/launch problems
- #en-support-cod-mobile — CODM-specific gameplay
- #en-support-pubg-mobile — PUBG-specific gameplay
- #tr-destek-* — Türkçe destek
- #soporte-español — Soporte en español
- Include in your post:
- Exact error message (screenshot if possible)
- Your TAC version (from Diagnostics log)
- Your CPU + GPU + RAM
- What you've already tried (cite this canonical sequence)
Mods respond faster when users have already tried the obvious fixes — describing the canonical sequence as "tried" lets them skip past it and dig into specifics.
Solution 4
Avoid these counter-productive moves:
- Don't reinstall TAC repeatedly without running Revo Uninstaller — registry leftovers compound.
- Don't install third-party "fix tools" from YouTube/Telegram — they're often malware or ban-triggering DLL injectors.
- Don't macro-bind your keys in G Hub or AHK — even innocent macros trigger anti-cheat.
- Don't try to "fix" Hyper-V via registry edits from random forum posts — VBS state requires controlled UI changes.
- Don't ask "is this banned?" — just play conservatively. Asking publicly often gets the question reposted to anti-cheat report channels.
