Smart Tool feature requests — what the community wants (community-curated roadmap)
GameLoopHub's Smart Tool is community-driven — many of its features come from Discord ideas-and-feedback threads, where users propose UX improvements and the EmuDesk team prioritizes based on upvotes and replies. This guide consolidates the active community-requested features as of May 2026 — both for transparency about what's coming and so users can upvote / contribute on Discord.

How to suggest or upvote features.
- Join the GameLoopHub Discord.
- Go to #ideas-and-feedback (forum channel).
- Browse existing threads first — many ideas are already posted; upvoting (👍) signals priority better than reposting.
- If your idea is genuinely new, click "New Post" and tag it appropriately (Tool, Keymap, Bug/Crash, Website, Guides, Discord).
- Describe the problem first, then your proposed solution. Specific use cases get more traction than abstract ideas.
Solution 3
Why some features are "vendor-blocked". The EmuDesk team only develops the Smart Tool's logic — the underlying TAC emulator and CODM game are owned by Tencent / Activision. Some features the community asks for require changes on Tencent's side, which means even if the community votes 1000 times, they can't be implemented:
- Combo keymaps with texture recognition for CODM — Tencent only enabled this for Arena Breakout. Per WhyBeKing: "Hasta que los chinos no hacen no, nosotros solo hacemos teclas y la manera de jugar."
- External monitoring tool overlay support (GamePP, MSI AB) — TAC's anti-cheat actively blocks DLL injection. Allowing it would bypass anti-cheat and trigger CODM bans.
- Native Windows window mode without 4-squares menu — TAC's UI is owned by Tencent.
What EmuDesk's Smart Tool CAN do is provide alternative paths (in-tool perf overlay instead of GamePP, in-tool keymap apply instead of TAC's keymap editor, etc.).
